This vintage ballerina ring certainly had to have been crafted specifically for this precious ruby at its center as they are perfectly matched to compliment each other. The classic ballerina style ring is made of solid 18kt yellow gold and is polygonal in shape with 6 sides where the diamonds are encrusted in a swirl around its center. EGL USA certifies this ruby to be natural exhibiting a purplish red color and weigh 2.28 carats. It is rectangular cushion cut and rests in a sturdy 4-prong setting surrounded by 30 baguette cut natural diamonds. They are graded G-H in color and VS1-SI1 in clarity weighing 1.50 carats total. The ring weighs 7.2 grams and is currently a size 6.25 and can be resized. It rises 9.00mm above your finger and its ring face measures almost 3/4” from North to South and 5/8” East to West. The bands width measures 3.50mm and tapers down to 2.30mm. This vintage ring from the 1960s is in pristine condition. The original EGL USA certificate will be included as well as the UGS Appraisal which, on December 8th, 2016, the ring was appraised for $14,250.
