Medieval gold ring with triple kitten. 13th century. The gold ring is a “stirrup” type. The ring is flat on the inside and convex on the outside. On each shoulder is engraved a four-leaf rosette. The kitten is absolutely exceptional, being made up of three matching kittens, one set with a ruby of Ceylon, one of the center of a sapphire of Ceylon and the third of an emerald.
