This ring is exquisite! This is an estate cocktail ring that was made in the Art Deco style, post 1950, from Platinum. The age is unknown. The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 Brilliant cut diamond of K – L color, VS2 – SI1 clarity that weighs approx. 2.80 carats. This diamond measures approx 8.8 mm in diameter and it is 4.87 mm deep. It is completely clear to the naked eye and has fabulous sparkle! There are two areas with inclusions that are needles and towards the edge of the diamond. You need a 10X jeweler’s loupe to find them.
The ring is framed with 12 natural red rubies that are Fancy shapes weighing approx. .70 ctw. The ring has a Lacey design that is set with 32 Brilliant cut diamonds G-H-I color, VS to SI clarity that weigh approx. .62 ctw. Eight of these diamonds are set in the shoulders. The total diamond weight in the ring is approx. 3.42 Carats! The head of the ring measures 20.5 mm in diameter and it sits 9 mm high. The ring size is an 8.5 and the total weight is 7.6 grams. The lower gallery is finely detailed. This ring is nothing less than absolutely gorgeous all the way around.
This is an exquisite estate ring that was handmade from Platinum in an Art Deco style. It is centrally set with 1 old mine cut diamond of J color, VVS clarity that weighs 1.56 carats and the weight is engraved in the shank. The diamond has a high crown and a cushion-like shape measuring 6.8 x 6.1 x 4.48 mm. Old mine cut diamonds are not symmetrical and this diamond is rounder on one side, but looks beautiful on the hand! The ring is also set with 62 old mine cut diamonds of G-H color, VS-SI clarity that weigh approx. .58 ctw. The total diamond weight is 2.14 ctw. The ring is detailed with 8 natural red rubies that weigh approx. .90 ctw. These rubies are fancy shaped French cuts of the finest quality. The head of the ring measures just over 9/16” long on the finger and it sits 5/16” high off the finger. The ring size is an 8 1/2 and the total weight is 5.9 grams. Gorgeous detailing on top and bottom of setting.
This is an original antique ring that was made in the Victorian period around 1880. It is handmade from 14K and sterling silver topped. The ring is set with approx. 5 Carats of rose cut diamonds! There are 7 on the top that have a spread or .60 – .85 ct. each. These diamonds have a grayish color that is common with antique rose cuts and they have beautiful sparkle! There are 8 more rose cut diamonds set in the side shoulders. The ring is framed with 28 Natural red rubies that are Round old mine cuts weighing approx. 1.40 ctw. The shank has fine detailing all the way around. The setting underneath has a heart pattern going around the edge. There is one tiny flaw in the gold (see photo of back side) and the gold has a tarnish/patina that I have not touch. I will leave that to the new owner to decide if they want it polished away. The head of the ring has a darkened finish around the diamond. The head measures almost 15/16″ in diameter and it sits 5/16″ high off the finger. The ring fits approx. a size 6 1/2 – 6 3/4 finger and the total weight is 8.9 grams.
