Formerly from the collection of Princess Isabelle de Croÿ, Archduchess Frédéric of Austria (1856-1931); then to her daughter, Archduchess Marie Anne of Austria, Princess Elie de Bourbon Parme.
She mentioned in her inventory written in 1907 and updated in 1932 after the death of her mother: “2 gros cabochons poires en émeraude surmontés d’un diamant. Héritage de ma mère” (2 large pear shaped cabochon emeralds with a diamond surmount. Estate of my mother).
