Here is a unique vintage ring from the 1970s that was obviously custom made for its centerpiece which is a beautiful Chatham emerald crystal cluster. It measures about 15 x 9 x 8.5mm and exhibits a range of vivid medium-dark to dark green hues with varying heights of the cylinder shaped crystal formations. If you’re not familiar with Chatham emeralds, they are actually a lab created gemstone made by the company, Chatham, and they are made up of the same chemical make-up of natural emeralds as they are grown rather than naturally occurring in the Earth. The gem is flanked by a solitary .05 carat round brilliant natural diamond graded G in color and SI1 in clarity. The ring is made of solid 14kt yellow gold which has been designed like a open filigree whirlwind around the emerald. The ring weighs 8.7 grams and is currently a size 6.5 and can be resized. It rises 12.15mm above your finger and its ring face measures 22.60 North to South and 14.90mm East to West. The bands width measures 4mm and tapers down to 3.25mm. The ring is in excellent condition.
