Featured is a very special vintage treasure exhibiting a precious opal, attributed to be from Lightning Ridge, Australia, which is surrounded by brilliant diamonds in high polished 18kt white gold. The opal rests in a 4-prong sturdy setting and is an oval cabochon cut gray semi-crystal solid opal displaying an intense rainbow play-of-color every which way its viewed. The opal weighs approximately 8.69 carats and is absolutely striking next to the brilliant white diamonds. There are 22 round bead/bezel set diamonds surrounding the opal with 2 larger diamonds on each shoulder in bezel settings. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.25 carats and they are graded G-H in color and SI1-I1 in clarity. The ring itself weighs 8.8 grams and is currently a size 8 with the ring sizer but we can remove this and resize the ring to whatever you need. The ring rises 5.30mm above your finger and its ring face measures 1 1/8” from North to South and about 3/4” from East to West. Its band’s width measures 3.30mm and tapers down to 2.25mm.
