A gorgeous green Colombian emerald, weighing approximately 2.50 carats, is accompanied right and left by a pair of sparkling antique cushion-cut diamonds, dating back to the turn-of-the-twentieth-century. The emerald casts an extra glow due to the foil-back setting (so it is not to be submerged in water), and the pair of diamonds are set in silver bezels. Scallop shell backs and fancy shoulders provide the finishing touches to this very special Georgian style jewel. This wonderful Georgian style gem dates from the mid-20th century, and is more than likely of Dutch origin.
